This is a private/in groups kids activity where they will learn the art of Islamic calligraphy.Minimum 2 kids required for this workshop.( as kids love to work in groups)
Learning Arabic, especially its script, is not just about mastering a language; it’s about unlocking a doorway to a world of culture, religion and history. Learning how to write down the haroof in proportion and composition is the first step of Arabic Calligraphy
Pre-Requisite
Must be familiar with Urdu /Arabic Alphabetical haroof
6-13 years
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN:
Designed for a Basic level artist where you will learn how to write Haroof in arabic calligraphy. Practice sheets will be provided. This will give you first hand knowledge of writing different Ayat & Quranic verses in arabic script..We will use chisel markers and learn how to write with correct pressure and angle. Once you have completed the artwork you will be able to incorporate this technique on your large scale canvas..We will learn,
1.Canvas preparation & background colour application mixing two colours
2.Writing different arabic haroof on your canvas after practice
3.Shading and sending an object to the foreground /Background
4. Writing ALLAH in the center. They will practice it under an expert guide.
This is a TWO-DAY course , 2.5 hours each day
Kids being kids, always keep a margin of some extra time.
Practice Haroof sheets will be provided.Dress them into paint friendly casual outfits.
Kids will be able to take their art piece home in the end of the Two-day session.
