The Kiswa is a black silk and gold embroidered cloth that covers the Holy Kaaba, located in Makkah, Saudia Arabia. The intricate calligraphy and ornate designs on the Kiswa symbolize the Muslim belief in the oneness of ALLAH and respect for the Holiness of the Kaabah in the hearts of muslims.
WHY THIS?
Painting the piece of cloth ( Kiswa) drapped on our Holy Kaabah holds a special place in my heart hence I designed this workshop to feel the sacred place.
